The Tui room and classrooms have large-sized chalkboards, although whiteboard is available for hire if preferred or required.
Use of kitchen facilities is for drink and food preparation and includes use of crockery and cutlery etc. The hirer must provide his/her own food and beverages, tea, coffee etc.
Our kitchen is not equipped for catering however the stove may be used for re-heating of dishes that have been prepared off-site.
Terms and Conditions of Hire:
Taruna acts solely as the renter of the venue.
All external parties are required to have the qualifications and insurance for all activities that they conduct at Taruna.
Taruna has no responsibility for injuries or loss of property.
Please adhere to the times of your booking. Set up/Pack up times must be included in your booking times.
The room must be left as it was found and all rubbish removed if there is no bin available in the room.
If the room is not left in reasonable condition a $30 (per hour) cleaning fee will be charged.
Please exercise awareness with the use of sound; any music must be appropriate. The venue must be vacated by 11:30 pm in the evening.
Please ensure all heating is off and windows and doors are secured and locked upon departure.
All hirers are liable for any damage that occurs at Taruna during the time of rental and will be invoiced accordingly.
Please note Taruna is a smoke-free and alcohol-free environment.
Room Hire must be paid in full 1 month prior to venue hire date by cash or bank deposit (no eftpos available). All bookings will incur a non-refundable $50 booking fee at the time the booking is made. This amount will be deducted off the final hire cost for all bookings that proceed to room hire.
Invoices are sent out to all hirers once booking has been made. Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received.
