Michelle Vette ~ RN (Comp), Cert. Anthroposophical Nursing, Cert. CBE, Post Grad Dip. Health Studies, Masters student
Michelle coordinates the Certificate and Diploma in Holistic Healthcare programmes at Taruna. The opportunity to bring the anthroposophical health perspective alongside current pictures is also part of Michelle’s work as an anthroposophical nurse. Supporting families, child and women’s health has been a strong focus. Michelle has enjoyed working in adult education especially responding to the questions that live amongst our communities about ourselves and our relationship to ourselves, each other and health.
Kristina Friedlander ~ RGON, Cert. Anthroposophical Nursing
Kristina is a faculty carrying group member for the Holistic Health and Art of Health faculties. She is an experienced anthroposophical nurse and works at Hohepa.
Deborah Bednarek ~ RN, Cert. Anthroposophical Nursing, Masters Health Sciences Nursing
Deborah works in a primary health setting providing a holistic nursing service that integrates anthroposophical nursing care and therapies. She has been a coordinator of two anthroposophical therapeutic residential retreats in Hawkes Bay and is currently undertaking research for her Master of Nursing degree. Particular interests are anthroposophical nursing in New Zealand and its relationship to international colleagues and how to successfully collaborate with all healthcare colleagues to understand and deliver real holistic care in the contemporary context. She is currently coordinator of the Anthroposophical Nurses Association in New Zealand (ANANZ).
Jocelyn Freeman ~ (Diploma in Holistic Health Faculty Member only) RN, Cert. Anthroposophical Nursing
Joce is experienced in primary health, school, and hospice nursing, and is now a Community Nurse for adults with Intellectual Disabilities. She has a lifelong interest in Spiritual Science, with a special focus on biography and how adults can discover wisdom in their life’s learning.
